A bit about the two-channel video work: one channel depicts a flock of birds moving about the sky while the other depicts snowflakes moving about the sky. I have spent much time during this strange experience in quarantine contemplating the things we know as constant, like nature, taking great comfort in the elemental things that have not changed, that are not changing, that will not change, despite so much around us in the constructed world having changed, changing, going to change. Nature is always in a state of change yet at the same time it is somehow constant (e.g., we know the sun will rise, seasons will change, birds will fly, snow will fall...). As our experience of time during this quarantine era takes on a new pace, the pace of nature remains unchanged. Yet, we are of nature, we are nature.
